Founded in 1978, the TLV SA Crisis Center operates an emotional support hotline, provides assistance to victims and raises awareness on the extent of sexual trauma. About: The Tel Aviv Sexual Assault Crisis Center was founded in 1978 by the Tel Aviv branch of the Israel Feminist Movement, evolving in 1982 into an independent, fully accredited, non-profit organization. It was the first such entity in Israel. Today, the center provides immediate crisis intervention to around 11,500 victims through its hotlines. Other services offered to victims include: Customized Support Groups, Law Enforcement and Judicial Process Accompaniment and various Rehabilitation Programs. In addition, the center constantly works to raise public awareness and initiate essential social change through extensive educational outreach programs. ----------------------------------------------- מרכז הסיוע לנפגעות ונפגעי תקיפה מינית תל אביב (מספר ח.פ. 580037604) הוקם בשנת 1978 על מנת לסייע ולתת תמיכה מעשית ורגשית לנפגעות ולנפגעים וללוות אותן ואותם בדרך הקשה שעוברות ועוברים כתוצאה מהפגיעה. המרכז מעניק שירותי סיוע 7 ימים בשבוע 24 שעות ביממה, ומטפל בכ-¼ מכלל הפניות הארציות בנושאי תקיפה מינית - כ-12,000 פניות בשנה. מטרותינו הן הגשת סיוע ותמיכה לנפגעות ולנפגעי תקיפה מינית וכן הגברת המודעות הציבורית, במטרה לצמצם את שיעורי התופעה בישראל.
