HaOgen (The Anchor) for Reservist Families is Israel’s leading and largest non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support for reservist families. Founded on October 7, 2023, by Rachel Azaria, the organization implemented a proven community model of support and turned it into a national pillar of resilience. With a mission rooted in the belief that the family unit is the backbone of Israeli society, HaOgen ensures that while our soldiers protect the borders, their families at home are not alone. What We Do: We created a holistic assistance model to provide support throughout the evolving challenges of reservist life, including logistical assistance (childcare and meals), emotional support, financial aid, and community-building initiatives.
