Today, under the leadership of fifth-generation family members, Wissotzky continues to grow from a heritage tea company into a diversified food and beverage group, combining more than 300 tea and infusion products with Zeta Mediterranean food range, Bella Italia tomato products, date-based specialties, partner brand distribution, HoReCa solutions, and new consumer concepts such as T-LAB bubble tea bars. The Wissotzky family saga is a captivating tale that begins in 1849 when Klonimus Wolf Wissotzky founded the Wissotzky Tea Company in Russia, introducing the delicate flavors of tea to the region. Over time, the brand gained prominence, becoming the exclusive tea supplier for the Emperor. The excellent, high quality products quickly led the company to acquire a large number of loyal customers across the Russian Empire and in neighboring countries. The family's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been a consistent theme across generations, with a focus on innovation and creating exceptional blends. In the early 20th century, the company expands its commercial activity across Europe, establishing a factory in Poland and opening Wissotzky branches in New York and London, the latter was managed by Achad Ha’am (Asher Tzvi Hirsch Ginsberg). Despite challenges like the Russian Revolution and WWII, the family's dedication to their craft keeps the pioneering spirit alive, fulfilling Klonimus Wissotzky's vision of a global brand.
