We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Billing Operations Analyst to take ownership of our end-to-end billing operations and ensure a seamless, accurate, and transparent invoicing experience for our customers. This is a critical role in maintaining trust, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting our clients' cloud cost efficiency journey. Key Responsibilities Orchestrate the Billing Lifecycle: Own and manage the billing process from usage ingestion to final invoice issuance, ensuring a reliable, "clock-work" monthly cycle. Pricing Logic Validation: Define and validate client pricing data within our platforms, ensuring complex commercial terms are accurately modeled and reflected. Generate Strategic Insights: Monitor billing data to identify trends or inconsistencies, providing actionable insights to leadership to improve financial accuracy and business efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to identify opportunities for automation and the integration of new AI tools into our billing workflow. Client Engagement: Collaborate with customers to address complex billing inquiries, providing the clarity and technical detail needed to maintain high levels of trust. Process Optimization: Proactively suggest and implement improvements to internal workflows to scale our operations as our client base grows. Requirements Educational Background: A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Analytical Experience: A proven ability to handle large, granular datasets in data analysis or cost analysis, catching what others miss. Excel Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills with a strong focus on data modeling and complex conditional logic. Strategic Thinking: Ability to solve complex problems and optimize manual processes into scalable, automated workflows. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills in Hebrew and English (written and verbal), with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders. Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines with a "can-do" attitude. Precision & Pedantry: You double-check your own work before anyone else has to. An unreconciled cent or a mismatched formula bothers you until it's fixed — "close enough" isn't in your vocabulary. Advantages 2+ years of experience in data analysis or cost analysis. Hands-on experience in FinOps, AWS Cost Explorer, or managing cloud cost data.
