We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to take full ownership of one of our strategic customers in Africa. This is a customer-facing role requiring a highly mature, service-oriented professional who will act as the primary interface between the customer and MER Group, ensuring the successful execution and ongoing operation of the project.
The role involves frequent travel to Africa (approximately every six weeks for two weeks at a time).
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and build long-term trusted relationships.
• Take full ownership of all customer activities at the site, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and drive communication between the customer and internal teams, including Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Management.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
• Prepare, review and translate technical and operational documents in French.
• Lead meetings with customers and present project status, risks and action plans.
• Support ongoing operational and technical activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify issues proactively and coordinate effective solutions with internal stakeholders.

MER is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel & Compliance Officer to serve as the primary legal partner for the Chief Revenue Organization.
This role is designed for a commercially minded attorney who combines excellent legal judgment with a practical business approach. The successful candidate will support global sales and business development activities by leading commercial contract negotiations, advising on legal and commercial risks, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance, and supporting the General Counsel on strategic legal matters.
The position plays a critical role in enabling business growth while protecting MER's legal and ethical interests across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Legal Support (60%)
• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements with customers, partners and subcontractors.
• Advise Sales, Business Development and Delivery teams on contractual, commercial and legal matters.
• Support complex customer negotiations throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, negotiation guidelines and approval processes.
• Support bids, tenders and RFP responses from a contractual perspective.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Project Management to ensure contractual obligations are properly managed.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors when required.
Compliance (20%)
• Serve as the company's Compliance Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and lifecycle support of mission-critical data center infrastructure solutions.
