Description As the Director of Product Design, you will assume a critical role at Fiverr, driving meaningful change, delivering high-impact results, and leading our talented team of designers and researchers. What am I going to do? Provide consistent guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the team, fostering a high-output environment. Manage the end-to-end design pipeline, driving operational excellence and effective cross-functional collaboration within the Product department. Oversee strategic alignment of all active design initiatives, ensuring they meet defined business goals and rigorous quality standards. Champion and nurture the team's creative output, ensuring all major design projects meet established OKRs and contribute to business objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to champion design excellence and ensure cohesive product development. Requirements You are a visionary and empowering leader at heart, bringing clarity and strategic direction to dynamic environments while guiding your team to excel through innovation and growth. You possess a strong command of product design strategy, with a proven ability to translate business objectives into actionable design roadmaps. You excel at fostering robust cross-functional collaboration, building bridges between design, product, engineering, and other key departments. You have a keen eye for operational management within a design context, optimizing workflows and ensuring pipeline efficiency. You are a natural stakeholder manager, adept at building consensus and driving alignment with diverse internal partners. You demonstrate extensive experience scaling design systems and successfully leading their organization-wide implementation. You bring a deep understanding of agile development methodologies, seamlessly integrating design strategy into cross-functional development cycles. You present a strong portfolio demonstrating proven executive leadership in steering high-impact, transformative product design initiatives. Working with AI AI tools will support your team by automating repetitive tasks, assisting with user research analysis, and generating design variations, allowing you and your team to focus on strategic decision-making, creative problem-solving, and high-level mentorship.
