Mechanical Design Team Leader Location: Modi'in, Israel Job Description We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Team Leader to join our team in Modi'in. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers in the design and development of complex, high-precision mechanical systems for the optics field. In this role, you will bridge the gap between visionary optical concepts and high-end engineering reality, leading multi-disciplinary efforts in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of at least 5 mechanical engineers across 2 sites. Oversee the design of complex and high-precision mechanical systems. Coordinate between optical design, mechanical design, and structural or thermal analysis. Develop and manage team work plans, track progress, and address schedule gaps. Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Manage procurement and technical communication with manufacturing workshops. Foster a positive and productive team atmosphere while meeting tight deadlines. Qualifications B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a leading university. At least 10 years of experience in the optical or opto-mechanical field. Proven experience of at least 3 years managing a team of at least 5 engineers. Expertise in generating manufacturing drawings with strong command of GD&T. Proficiency in PDM and SolidWorks. Experience with analytical tools for thermal analysis, structural analysis, and mechanical stability. Excellent teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
