PI Field Modification Operator

Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.     Network & Links Internal Customer Site PI team PI Support team Project team Installation and Test & Commissioning team (if applicable) Internal Supplier representatives (Components/PU) Maintenance/Service team (if Alstom) Global System representatives (if applicable) External Customer site team Customer maintenance team (if not Alstom) External Supplier representative  Key accountabilities: Implement field modifications according to the modification instruction (including tests, if required) Ensure use of valid/calibrated tools Populate relevant modification follow-up data base and report relevant information to Field Modification Coordinator-Leader & PI Customer Site Manager Ensure information flow within the field modification team (e.g. shift handover) Perform quality self-inspection Respect EHS rules (Environment Health & Safety rules) and any work-related processes. Ensure risk assessment & safe-system -of-work is available. Report any deviation or non-conformity associated with the field modification Ensure all necessary parts, tools & documents are available prior to starting the field modification   Performance measurements: Respect of timeframe for modification implementation Customer acceptance and quality level of implemented modification Compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes Achievement of contractual availability (milestone) targets Completeness and Quality of FM implementation data recorded in data base Availability of configuration update data Audit results (internal and external) Educational Requirements Mandatory: Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics) Minimum IT knowledge Internal EHS training Desirable: Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics) English Experience Mandatory: Technical operational experience (mechanical or electrical / electronic) (> 10 years for Senior position) Field Experience (> 10 years for Senior position) Teamwork capacity EHS knowledge and exposure Product knowledge In addition for Senior Position : Self-government FM Operator team management (of applicable) Technical troubleshooting/investigation experience (mechanical or electrical / electronic) Desirable: Railway Safety/Product liability Engineering knowledge Customer contact Technical troubleshooting/investigation experience (mechanical or electrical / electronic) Team management (if applicable)       You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
