About the job: We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to build the intelligent core of our platform - the LLM-powered features, agentic workflows, and evaluation systems that set the ceiling for what Chamelio's AI can do. This role sits at the intersection of AI and software engineering: you'll navigate ambiguity, rapidly experiment with new technologies, and turn ideas into production-ready features that transform how legal teams operate worldwide. What You'll Do: Design and build LLM-powered features and agentic workflows that power the core of our platform Own problems end-to-end - from prototyping and experimentation to production deployment and monitoring Build and improve our agentic harness, modeling strategies, and the orchestration logic behind our agents Develop evaluation systems and pipelines that let us measure and improve model and agent quality systematically Fine-tune and adapt models where it moves the needle, and evaluate emerging AI capabilities as the field evolves Partner closely with product, design, and engineering to turn ambiguous problems into shipped features What You Bring: 6+ years of software engineering experience, with hands-on work building LLM-powered or ML-driven products Strong Python skills and experience with production-grade AI/ML systems Experience with LLM application patterns - RAG, agents, prompting, orchestration frameworks Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval systems Experience with model evaluation, fine-tuning, or ML workflows Strong judgment about abstractions - opinionated about good design, but pragmatic about shipping incrementally A bias toward full ownership: you navigate ambiguity well and don't wait for a roadmap to start solving problems Great to Have Early-stage startup experience, especially as a founding or first AI hire Experience with legal tech or other domain-heavy, high-accuracy products Familiarity with MCP and the broader agentic tooling ecosystem Why Chamelio Make an impact: Your work will transform how legal teams at leading companies worldwide operate Ship fast: Work in a lean, high-velocity environment where you see your work in production quickly Own your work: Take full ownership of meaningful projects from conception to deployment Grow with us: Join early and shape both the product and company as we scale 📍 Tel Aviv | Full Time
