Senior Product Designer (Maternity Leave Cover)

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our design team for a maternity leave cover position (September–March), with a possibility of extension based on company needs. This is an opportunity to join a global product company operating in the Maritime Tech industry and work on complex platforms used by fleet managers, safety teams, and customers worldwide. What You'll Do Lead end-to-end design processes, from problem definition and discovery through concept development, UX/UI design, and developer handoff. Work closely with Product Managers and R&D Teams Translate complex operational challenges into intuitive and effective user experiences. Participate in discovery processes, user research, and customer conversations. Design new features and improve existing products within complex SaaS platforms. Conduct design reviews and support implementation throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer. Experience designing complex SaaS products. Proven experience leading end-to-end product design processes. Strong ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward. Experience collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams. Systems-thinking mindset with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Figma. Nice to Have Experience with B2B products. Experience working on data-rich or operational systems. User research experience. Familiarity with AI tools as part of the design workflow. Maritime background or familiarity with maritime operations, fleet management, navigation, or shipping-related workflows.
