Job Description A highly interesting role in a leading global organization. The Site Manager is responsible for the production site in Israel, which includes various production departments and support departments. The purpose of this role is to act as a member of the Avery Dennison Israel management team and a partner in various forums in the global company, overseeing production, supply chain, and operational excellence while maintaining high professional and managerial standards. Key Responsibilities: This position is based on-site in Kibbutz Hanita with daily attendance required. Full responsibility for all operations department performance including auditing, packaging, logistics, supply chain, TPI, purchasing, processes, quality assurance, operational excellence, safety and environmental quality, maintenance, infrastructure and economics. Leading an operational excellence program in terms of depreciation, output, and productivity and acquisition and implementation of new equipment. Defining an annual investment plan with the professional teams and managing the operations department budget while striving for constant efficiency. Leadership, mentoring, and personal and professional support of department managers and characterization and implementation of work processes, line infrastructure, and procedures. Matrix management of Avery Dennison Hanita's manufacturing site in China. Qualifications Required: Engineering education in Industrial Engineering and Management, Chemistry (process), Biotechnology, or Machinery. Proven experience as a Site Manager in a medium-sized or larger industrial company. Expertise in leading production sites, process improvements, and operational excellence. Fluent command of Hebrew and English, including speaking, writing, and reading. Willingness to work under pressure with high availability for a 24/7 production environment. Skills you need to succeed: High level of procedural and professional understanding with quick learning ability. Strong leadership, mentoring, and personal/professional support skills for department managers. Broad systemic vision with the ability to navigate between various organizational needs. Exceptional collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills. High work ethic and the ability to manage a large number of projects simultaneously. Resilience & Leadership: We are looking for a candidate with "broad shoulders" (strong leadership and resilience) who can handle the demands of a 24/7 manufacturing and operations environment. You must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining daily operations and upholding high professional and managerial standards. Technical Aptitude: Strong learning agility with a solid understanding of technical systems and operational processes. Strategic Vision: A broad, systemic organizational view with the ability to successfully navigate and balance competing company needs. Work Environment: A dynamic role split between the production floor ("the field") and the office. Additional Requirements Residency: Must reside in the Western Galilee area, with the southern boundary being the Krayot (Haifa bay area) or surrounding regions.
