Squad Leader

We are looking for a Squad Leader to join our engineering leadership team, reporting directly to the VP Engineering. You will own & manage a multi-disciplinary squad spanning AIgo, full-stack, AIOps, QA, and data - accountable for delivery, people, and business outcomes. You will work closely with a Principal Product Manager who sets direction, and directly manage a Product Owner embedded in your squad. A Day in the Life and How You’ll Make an Impact: Drive your squad's lifecycle—from planning and prioritization to risk mitigation—ensuring commitments are met and quality remains non-negotiable. Direct-line manage all engineers and an embedded Product Owner. Conduct meaningful 1:1s, support career growth, and foster a high-accountability team culture. Connect engineering decisions directly to UVeye's commercial goals. Always anchor "what we build" to "why it matters to the customer." Partner with Principal Architects and senior engineers to offer technical guidance, evaluate trade-offs, and spot architectural risks early. Actively participate in high-level engineering leadership discussions regarding product roadmaps, global resourcing, and organizational strategy. Requirements 7+ years of engineering experience, at least 4 of them in a managerial role, including managing other managers. Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-moving, product-led environment. Strong foundations across distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and production software. B.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent. Who You Are A true people leader - you have managed engineers directly and care deeply about their growth.
