System Engineer

Elbit Systems is an international high-technology company engaged in a wide range of programs worldwide, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenasWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land, and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications We are looking for a System Engineer to join one of our projects in the field of Navigation Warfare for the IDFThe position is based in Holon  The role involves leading and supporting system-level development activities, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary systems integrating hardware, firmware, and software Responsibilities Lead system development in a complex defense project in the field of Navigation WarfareDefine and manage system requirements, perform system design, and write design and technical specification documents for various engineering teamsManage subcontractors and external partnersLead and coordinate system integration activities across multiple disciplinesSupport verification, validation, and qualification processes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Master’s degree – an advantageAt least 5 years of experience working with complex multidisciplinary systems (hardware, firmware, and software integration)Proven experience in requirements definition, configuration management, and writing technical specificationsExperience and familiarity with system development and integration processesBackground in GNSS-based navigation systems, receivers, and simulation environments Experience in naval Electronic Warfare (EW) systems – an advantageStrong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientationAbility to lead and motivate matrix teamsExcellent technical writing and documentation skills in English
