Systems Verification Engineer – Signal Processing & Communications
Location: Be'er Ya'akov
We are seeking a Systems Verification Engineer (Design Verification) specializing in Signal Processing and Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for validating and verifying advanced signal processing and RF-based systems. You will design, develop, and deploy complex test setups integrating dedicated hardware, software, firmware, and test equipment to ensure systems meet their architectural and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design Verification & Test Setups: Verify signal processing and RF-based systems by designing, developing, and establishing complex test setups that integrate specialized test equipment (TE), hardware, software, and firmware.
Test Definition & Execution: Define, specify, plan, and implement system-level tests to verify diverse signal processing and RF systems against their technical requirements.
Requirements Review: Review and analyze engineering requirements documents.
Verification Planning: Develop and author comprehensive design verification plans (DVP) mapped directly to system requirements.
Lab Integration: Design and build complex test benches within the R&D laboratory utilizing a wide variety of advanced test equipment.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Execute verification plans, analyze test results using diverse engineering tools, and present findings in collaboration with algorithm, software, and firmware engineers.
Triage & Debugging: Identify, isolate, and characterize system bugs and anomalies in coordination with the relevant discipline leads.
System Integration Support: Assist R&D teams during hardware, software, and firmware integration (bring-up) using a broad, system-level perspective.
Performance Analysis: Conduct system performance analysis and trade-off studies using engineering tools such as Python and MATLAB.
Automation Development: Develop automated test software and data-analysis scripts using C#.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical and Computer Engineering – Must.
Practical Engineer (Handasai) / Technician in Electrical or Electronics Engineering – Must.
Experience & Background: Alumnus of a IDF military technological unit OR minimum of 3 years of experience within the defense industry.
Design Verification: Prior background or experience in design verification (DV) / system verification – Advantage.
Software & Tools:
Hands-on experience with MATLAB.
Programming experience with C# and/or Python.
Test Equipment: Strong familiarity with RF/electronics test equipment (e.g., Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers).
