Job Description
About the Role
Numbers tell stories. Compensation tells even better stories.
We are looking for a curious, analytical, and highly motivated Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join our Global Compensation & Benefits team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who loves working with data, enjoys solving puzzles, and wants to learn how global organizations make decisions about employee pay, benefits, rewards, and workforce strategy.
You don't need to be a compensation expert yet - we will teach you that part.
What we're really looking for is someone who gets excited about Excel formulas, asks "why?" more often than most people, and isn't afraid to dive into large datasets until they reveal their secrets.
(Warning: prolonged exposure to this role may result in unexpectedly strong opinions about salary structures, market data, and pivot tables.)
What You'll Do
As part of our Global Compensation & Benefits team, you will:
Compensation Analytics & Benchmarking
Participate in salary benchmarking projects using leading market surveys and compensation databases.
Analyze internal and external compensation data to support competitive and equitable pay decisions.
Assist with the maintenance of salary ranges, job architecture, and compensation frameworks.
Support annual compensation cycles, including merit reviews, promotions, and salary adjustments.
Conduct compensation analyses and help prepare recommendations for managers and HR partners.
Data, Reporting & Insights
Partner with HR Operations on data management in the HR system (HRDB) - including uploads, audits, and ongoing maintenance of HR data - to safeguard data integrity across the employee lifecycle.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analyses using Excel, Power BI, and HR systems.
Translate complex data into simple and actionable insights.
Support pay equity, workforce planning, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
Benefits & Total Rewards
Assist in the evaluation and administration of employee benefits programs.
Conduct market research and trend analysis on benefits and total rewards practices.
Support communication efforts to help employees understand our rewards programs.
Business Partnership
Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders on compensation-related initiatives.
Contribute to projects that improve processes, governance, and the employee experience.
Continuous Improvement
Look for smarter, faster, and more efficient ways to work.
Leverage AI and technology tools to enhance reporting, analyses, and decision-making.
Bring fresh ideas and challenge existing assumptions.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Up to 2 years of experience in an analytical role (internships count!).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills or a strong willingness to become an Excel wizard.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Curiosity, ownership, and a growth mindset.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with compensation, benefits, finance, payroll, or HR analytics.
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and analysis.
Basic knowledge of statistics and data visualization.
Who Will Thrive in This Role?
You might be a great fit if:
You enjoy working with numbers as much as people.
You get genuine satisfaction from finding an error that nobody else noticed.
You ask thoughtful questions instead of accepting things at face value.
You can explain a complicated analysis in language that normal humans understand.
You view "I've never done that before" as an exciting opportunity rather than a problem.
What You'll Learn
This role offers a unique opportunity to build expertise in:
Global compensation strategy
Salary benchmarking and market intelligence
Pay equity and regulatory compliance
Executive and broad-based compensation programs
Benefits design and governance
Advanced people analytics
Business partnering and stakeholder management
You'll work closely with experienced Compensation & Benefits professionals and gain exposure to strategic projects that have a direct impact on thousands of employees worldwide.
Final Note
We're not looking for someone who already knows everything about Compensation & Benefits.
We're looking for someone who is excited to learn everything about Compensation & Benefits.
If you're naturally curious, analytical, driven, and ready to grow - we'd love to meet you.
Bring your curiosity. We'll teach you the compensation part.
