Data Analyst- Student position

As a Student Data & Fraud Analyst, you'll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, helping monitor real-time data flows, detect issues before they escalate, and optimize the business logic behind our anti-fraud systems. You'll join a company that handles over 100 billion requests daily, working alongside tech and data experts who will give you hands-on experience with the tools, methodologies, and ways of working that define modern data teams. This is a part-time role (60%) based in Herzliya, Israel. What You'll Do: Own the numbers: Dive into vast amounts of data (billions of daily events) to surface insights, debug anomalies, and support product and engineering teams. Help build monitoring: Contribute to real-time dashboards, alerts, and data pipelines that track system health and catch issues before they become problems. Support mission-critical decisions: Work alongside engineers and senior analysts to validate deployments, fine-tune fraud-detection logic, and keep our products running smoothly. Improve data modeling: Help enhance how we collect and transform data, making it more efficient, accurate, and scalable. Drive impact with insights: Partner with the product team on initiatives that improve customer experience and business outcomes. Communicate findings: Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Who You Are: B.Sc or higher in Industrial Engineering / Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering — with at least 2-3 semesters until graduation. GPA 85 or higher (please attach a copy of your transcript with official grades to your CV). Solid SQL skills: You're comfortable writing queries and exploring datasets on your own. Fast learner with a strong analytical mindset , able to simplify complex data and tell a clear story with it. Technically curious: passionate about problem-solving and working with engineering teams. Team player with a sense of ownership and a "can-do" attitude. Eager to learn cutting-edge data tools and technologies. Bonus Points: Python proficiency: Comfort building simple data pipelines or automating analyses. Experience or coursework with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar. Familiarity with BigQuery or AWS tools like Athena, S3, and ELB. Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle. Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English. Why Join Us?
