Mechanical Designer

Description Magal Solutions is a global leader in the field of security, specializing in the development of command-and-control systems and the planning and execution of integrated security projects for the protection of critical infrastructure and strategic sites around the world. We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team! Location: Yehud (relocating to Modi’in during 2026) Responsibilities Conduct site surveys for existing and potential customers to support system design and pricing. Mechanical and structural design of Magal’s security systems and products – including structures, concrete, and plastic components. Document, validate, and maintain engineering drawings. Ensure execution of designs in the field through coordination with external contractors and suppliers. Provide engineering support to manufacturing, R&D, and procurement departments. Provide engineering support and documentation throughout project stages, including PDR and CDR. Work in close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders, both in Israel and abroad. Requirements Mechanical or Civil Engineer / Practical Engineer (Technician) – mandatory . At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design within an engineering company or in a military engineering office – mandatory . Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks – mandatory . Proven experience in the design of structures, concrete elements, and plastic parts – mandatory . High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English (reading, writing, speaking). Full proficiency in Microsoft Office – mandatory . Experience working with PRIORITY ERP system – an advantage . Previous experience in the defense industry – a significant advantage . Valid driver’s license – mandatory .
