The CathWorks FFRangio® System combines artificial intelligence (AI) and computational science to provide physicians with comprehensive physiologic information, enabling them to make better treatment decisions for patients with coronary artery disease.

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of CathWorks automation architecture, including automation for AI‑based and data‑driven systems.
In this role, you will have end-to-end ownership of automation frameworks, infrastructure, CI/CD integration, and automation strategy across products.
You will partner with software, architecture, product, biomedical and algorithm teams, alongside SQA leadership, while providing technical mentorship to SQA automation engineers across Scrum teams, to ensure quality is built into the development lifecycle through scalable, reliable, and maintainable automation solutions.
Reporting:
Report directly to the Software QA Team Leader.
Job Responsibilities:
Define and own the automation architecture and long‑term strategy across projects
Architect, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and shared infrastructure
Design and implement end‑to‑end automated test solutions, including functional and non‑functional coverage
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
Own automation execution, visibility, and reporting
Enable automated validation of performance, stability, reliability, and robustness
Establish and drive automation standards, best practices, and technical guidelines
Partner with development engineering teams to improve system testability and automation readiness
Mentor and technically lead SQA automation engineers across Scrum teams
Evaluate, select, and introduce new automation technologies and tools
Act as a senior technical authority within an agile, cross‑functional environment
Requirements:
At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in test automation
Proven experience in automation architecture and framework design
Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
Solid experience designing scalable and maintainable automation platforms
Strategic and hands‑on proficiency in core engineering and delivery technologies, including Java, C#, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps.
B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field – an advantage
Experience in medical applications – an advantage
Experience driving or enabling AI adoption within engineering or QA teams – an advantage
Experience working in Agile development environments – an advantage
