Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Robotics

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our robotics team and help build advanced robotic systems for real-world missions. You'll own mechanical development from concept through production, working closely with electronics, software and AI teams to create reliable, high-performance robotic products. Lead mechanical design of robotic subsystems and products Design mechanisms, structures and electromechanical assemblies Design improvements for existing systems Develop products from concept through prototyping, testing and production Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams Support system integration, manufacturing and field validation Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners Requirements B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of mechanical product development experience Strong CAD skills (Onshape and SolidWorks) Experience with CNC machining, sheet metal and injection molding Experience designing mechanisms and mechanical assemblies Experience integrating electronics, PCBs, wiring and connectors Strong understanding of DFM, GD&T and manufacturing processes Independent, hands-on engineer with strong ownership Nice to Have: Robotics, drones or autonomous systems Military or defense products FEA experience
