Senior Product Manager - Data Classification

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead this evolution - building scalable, accurate, and context-aware classification capabilities. At Varonis, we protect data from the inside out - helping organizations understand where sensitive data exists, who can access it, and how it is used. Data classification is at the core of this mission. It is evolving from traditional detection into a more advanced, AI-driven capability that enables deeper understanding across structured and unstructured data. Responsibilities Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: strategy, roadmap, delivery, and launch Define and drive the vision for data classification and data understanding Gather and prioritize requirements through customer and market insights Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, and other stakeholders Focus areas Evolve classification from pattern-based detection to AI-enhanced capabilities Balance accuracy, performance, scalability, cost, and privacy Translate complex data behavior into simple, usable product features Improve classification quality and coverage across large-scale environments Requirements 5+ years of Product Management experience Strong technical background and ability to work with engineering teams Experience building products in complex or data-intensive environments Excellent communication and analytical skills Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and operate in ambiguity Advantage Experience with data security, data classification, or similar domains Familiarity with AI / Machine Learning concepts or working with Data Science teams Relevant B.Sc. degree; MBA – an advantage Why this role matters You will shape how organizations understand and protect their data at scale - evolving classification into a more intelligent and context-aware capability, in a world where data is increasingly used by AI.
