We're looking for a Senior Technical Operations Engineer responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations. You will perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend new and novel solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This is an opportunity to bring a combination of deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide escalation support to a wide range of complex production environment problems related to immense growth, scaling, leveraging the cloud, extremely high performance, and high availability requirements. As a Senior Technical Operations Engineer, you will also guide junior engineers to solve complex problems, take part in large-scale incident bridges and help to build new processes and procedures. Performs regular administration and conducts standard performance trend analyses and manages server capacity. Performs system configurations and backups independently. Implements monthly, quarterly, or hotfix patches to address security vulnerabilities or bugs across the technical stack. Deploys enhancements to improve the performance, reliability, and security of systems and environments. Resolves complex, critical customer system issues and implements and documents technical solutions. Implements disaster recovery solutions.
