Job description

Description We are looking for a Global Planning Manager to join our Team! The role is the strategic and operational bridge between internal demand signals (Product, Sales, Engineering) and external manufacturing capacity (Contract Manufacturers, ODMs), ensuring that the right inventory is in the right place at the right time, at optimal cost and risk. Responsible for data automation and infrastructure & tools for the company's demand-supply management. The Global Planning Manager owns end-to-end supply chain planning for hardware. Core Responsibilities: Own the global S&OP process end-to-end, building short, mid, and long-term demand forecasts by product family and region Translate forecasts into master plans, purchase orders, capacity reservations, and commit schedules with CM/ODM partners • Own CM/ODM partner management: procurement policies, capacity allocation, OTD/cost/flexibility KPIs, and quarterly business reviews Set global safety stock policy, drive excess & obsolete inventory disposition, and build multi-source strategies for single-source/long-lead components Lead capacity and ramp planning for new product introductions, from line/test capacity through qualification gates Own the demand-supply data platform and drive AI-based automation of forecast-to-supply processes Partner with Procurement and Finance on COGS targets, BOM cost, and supply chain risk mitigation through negotiations, logistics optimization, and process efficiency Requirements 8-10+ years in Supply Chain, Operations, or Planning in a hardware company, including 3+ years in people management or senior individual-contributor ownership Proven hands-on experience managing CM/ODM relationships, reconciliation, and costing processes across global locations Deep knowledge of S&OP, demand-supply balancing, and MRP/ERP systems Strong commercial and contractual experience with MSAs and pricing negotiations Data-driven decision-maker, proficient in Excel/BI tools, with a track record leading AI-driven process automation Excellent communication skills with executive-level audiences; able to move between strategic and operational levels Nice to have: experience with PCBA/box-build/system-level test at ODMs, PLM/BOM tools, and IT/ERP/AI implementation If your experience is close but doesn’t fulfill all requirements, please apply.
