Your trust in us matters most. We never sell your personal information and never hand it to anyone, other than the service providers who run the platform for us (as detailed in the policy) and solely for operating it. You can ask to view, correct, or completely delete your data at any time.

We're here to help you take the next step in your career easily and discreetly.

Welcome to Secret Jobs

Welcome to the "Secret Jobs" platform, operating at www.secretjobs.ai (hereinafter: the "Platform" or "Secret Jobs"). Secret Jobs is a smart job-discovery platform that automatically scans the recruitment pages of thousands of technology companies and sends you personalized alerts about employment opportunities that match your professional profile.

Agreement Documents

This document (the "Platform Terms"), the privacy policy detailed here (the "Privacy Policy"), and additional terms that may be defined later (together, the "General Terms"), set out the rules for using the Platform and the services offered on it (the "Services"). Any person who uses or attempts to use the Platform or its Services (the "User") undertakes to comply with these terms and acknowledges that we will act in accordance with them.

Therefore, before using the Platform, we ask you to read the General Terms carefully and to act in accordance with them. If you do not agree to one or more of the terms, please refrain from any use of the Platform or its Services.

For any question or inquiry, you may send a message to hello@secretjobs.ai or use the contact form on the site.

How to Use Secret Jobs

Secret Jobs provides its registered users the ability to receive personalized matches of relevant job offers. Our automated system scans many information sources in the technology sector and offers users jobs tailored to their professional profile and personal preferences.

Any activity on the Platform that is not expressly authorized in these Terms is strictly prohibited.

It is important to note that all jobs displayed on the Platform are intended for everyone, regardless of age, gender, sector, religion, or gender identity, even if the job's wording suggests otherwise.

Use of the Platform is intended for personal purposes only — that is, for the purpose of searching for work and submitting applications — and not for other commercial uses.

The responsibility for safeguarding your Platform login details (username and password) rests with you. You must notify us immediately if you suspect that these details have been exposed. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and may not raise any claims or demands against us regarding this responsibility.

We recommend that you take customary security measures, such as anti-virus software, browser security settings, and avoiding the use of software from untrusted sources, in order to reduce the risk of personal information being exposed to unauthorized parties.

Prohibited Actions

Unauthorized intrusion into the Platform, its servers, or its computer files is prohibited, as is collecting information using automated software, or using the Platform to distribute viruses, malware, or any other application that may harm the Platform or other users. Any reverse engineering, modification, or alteration of the Platform's components is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to remove any information or content, in whole or in part, at any time, at our sole discretion and without the need to provide prior notice or explanation.

Registering for the Platform

A user who wishes to receive personalized job matches and enjoy all the benefits of the Platform is required to create a user account. As part of this, the user will be asked to provide certain details (such as name, email, professional experience, skills, username). The details provided during registration are considered part of the "User Information," and the details related to the account will be referred to as the "Account Details." Users who have an account will be defined as "Registered Users." Our Privacy Policy applies to all of these details.

During the registration process, you will be asked to confirm, by ticking dedicated checkboxes, the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and your consent to receiving communications from us (job matches, updates, and marketing content), in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Responsibility for all activity in the account rests with the user alone. We reserve the right to prevent access to the Platform or to the user account at any time, at our sole discretion, and without any liability on our part. Likewise, we may remove any information or content, or prevent its publication, at our discretion and without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

The use of the Secret Jobs platform, with all of its components and services, is offered to users on an "As Is" basis, and use of it is at the user's sole responsibility.

Any activity carried out in the user account will be considered an activity performed by the user themselves.

Secret Jobs acts solely as a search engine and intermediary between employers and candidates, and provides information about open jobs and their suitability to the user's professional profile. We do not guarantee that all jobs or specific jobs will be available to all users. Some jobs may be displayed only to users whose profile matches the job requirements.

Secret Jobs does not actively review the details of the jobs scanned by the system, including their content, wording, terms, suitability to a category, or compliance with legal requirements. Likewise, we do not check or verify the accuracy of the details or the information about employers.

You undertake to indemnify us, our employees, managers, or anyone on our behalf, for any damage, loss, loss of profit, payment, or expense caused to us — including attorneys' fees and legal expenses — as a result of a breach of the terms of use. You will also indemnify us for any claim, lawsuit, or demand directed against us by any third party as a result of your use of the Platform. We, our employees, managers, or anyone on our behalf will not bear responsibility for any damage, loss, loss of profit, payment, or expense caused to you as a result of using the Platform.

It is your responsibility to conduct an independent and reasonable check regarding the employer before submitting an application or relying on information that appeared in a job listing or any other information. Any use of the information or content appearing on the Platform is at your sole responsibility, and you bear all the risks involved.

We will not bear responsibility for a breach of representation, undertaking, agreement, or declaration on the part of any employer, and we are not a party to the engagement between users and employers.

We will not bear responsibility for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, caused to the user or to any third party as a result of using or relying on information or content appearing on the Platform, whether in job listings, marketing content, links, or any other content, and the user will have no claim regarding their reliance on information or content displayed on the Platform.

The content appearing on the Platform, including advice, recommendations, tools, articles, guidelines, and tips, is intended for informational purposes only. It is hereby clarified that this content does not constitute professional advice, guidance, or an opinion in any field requiring expertise or professional training.

We are not responsible for damages or losses arising from the suitability of the Services to users, from the suitability of the Platform to a personal computer, or from malfunctions, software or server failures, or third-party services on which the Platform depends for its operation. You are asked to take this into account when relying on the Platform's content or services.

We do not undertake to keep a backup of content uploaded or stored on the Platform. Likewise, we may disable the Platform, in whole or in part, for maintenance, updating, upgrading, or any other need, and will not bear responsibility for damages that may result from this.

We do not guarantee that the service will be provided without interruptions or malfunctions, or that it will be protected from unauthorized access, damage, hardware or software malfunctions, or communication line problems. We or anyone on our behalf will not bear responsibility for any damage, direct or indirect, caused to users as a result.

Any transaction or engagement between a user and an employer, following the discovery of a job through the Platform, will be concluded directly between the parties and does not include us as a party to the agreement, even if the information about the engagement was transmitted through the Platform.

Privacy Protection Policy and Use of Information

At the Secret Jobs platform, user privacy is a core value. This policy describes, in full transparency, what information we collect, why we use it, who it is shared with, and what rights you have. It applies to your use of the Platform, the website, and the emails we send.

Notice Regarding Provision of Information (Section 11 of the Privacy Protection Law)

You are under no legal obligation to provide us with personal information, and providing it depends on your own free will and consent. However, without certain details (such as an email address) we will not be able to open an account for you, match jobs to you, or send them to you. The information is collected for the purposes detailed in this policy, and will be transferred only to the service providers listed in it, solely for operating the service. You have the right to access the information held about you and to request its correction, as detailed below.

Types of Information We Collect

  1. Account details — Name, email address, and interface language. When signing in with a Google account, we receive from it your name, email address, and profile picture.

  2. Onboarding answers — The roles you are looking for, your seniority level, and the answers you provided about your job search.

  3. Résumé and LinkedIn profile — If you chose to upload a résumé file or provide a link to your LinkedIn profile, we will store the file and the information extracted from it (work experience, skills, languages, locations, and a professional summary), and retrieve the public information from the profile you provided. Providing this information is entirely optional and is not a condition for using the Platform.

  4. Platform activity — Jobs you saved, opened, or marked as applied to, saved searches, notification preferences, and personal notes you wrote.

  5. Communications and feedback — Support inquiries, satisfaction survey responses, and feedback you provided.

  6. Automatically collected information — Technical usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and usage times, as well as email interaction data (opening a message and clicking links) collected via a tracking pixel and tagged links.

  7. Subscription and payment — Subscription status and transaction identifiers. Payment details are provided directly to the payment processor and are not stored in our systems.

Processing Using Artificial Intelligence

To build your career profile and match jobs to you, the content of the résumé or LinkedIn profile you provided is analyzed using artificial intelligence services of third-party providers (currently OpenAI). Under these providers' terms of service, they are not permitted to use your content to train their models. The matches the system produces are recommendations only: we do not make automated decisions with legal effect concerning you, and the decision in any recruitment process rests solely with the employer.

How We Use the Information

  1. Job matching — Analyzing the data you provided in order to find and offer you suitable jobs, on the Platform and by email.

  2. Operating the service — Opening and managing your account, sending service messages (such as sign-in confirmations), responding to inquiries, and collecting payments.

  3. Improving the Platform — Understanding how the service is used, improving match quality, and developing new capabilities, based on aggregated data wherever possible.

  4. Communications — Sending job matches, updates, and marketing content, subject to your consent and as detailed in the "Marketing Communication" section.

  5. Security and legal compliance — Identifying and preventing abuse, and complying with legal obligations.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following cases:

  1. Service providers (processors) — Providers who process information on our behalf and solely per our instructions, for operating the service:

    • Data storage, authentication, and files: Supabase; website hosting: Vercel
    • Résumé analysis and job matching using AI: OpenAI
    • Retrieval of public information from the LinkedIn profile you provided: Apify
    • Product usage analytics: PostHog
    • Email delivery: Resend
    • Payment processing: Dodo Payments
    • Advertising measurement: Meta (using hashed identifiers only)
    • Account sign-in: Google
  2. Legal requirements — If we are required to do so by law, a court order, or a demand from a competent authority.

  3. Structural change — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, subject to this policy continuing to apply to the information.

Transfer of Information Outside of Israel

Some of our service providers operate outside of Israel (mainly in the United States and the European Union), and therefore personal information may be stored and processed outside Israel's borders. We engage with these providers under data processing agreements that include data protection commitments, in accordance with the requirements of Israeli law for transferring information abroad.

Information Security Measures

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect the information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls and row-level permissions, storage of résumé files in a private bucket that is not publicly accessible, and limiting access to information to operational needs only. However, no system is completely immune, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. A serious security incident will be reported to the Privacy Protection Authority and to users in accordance with the law.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Information

In accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, you have the following rights:

  1. Right of access (Section 13 of the Law) — To request to review the personal information held about you by us.

  2. Right to correction (Section 14 of the Law) — To request the correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, or its deletion.

  3. Résumé deletion — You can delete your résumé file or LinkedIn profile directly from your profile page on the Platform, at any time.

  4. Account deletion — You can request the deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us. We will delete the information from our core systems, except for information we are required to retain by law; copies in backups are deleted in the regular backup cycle.

  5. Unsubscribing from communications — As detailed in the "Marketing Communication" section.

To exercise these rights, you may contact us at hello@secretjobs.ai. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with the timeframes set by law.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies:

  1. Essential cookies — Required for signing in and for the basic functioning of the Platform.

  2. Usage analytics — The PostHog analytics tool collects usage data to help us understand and improve the product.

  3. Advertising measurement — A Meta pixel is used to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.

  4. Email tracking — Our emails include a pixel and tagged links that let us know which messages were opened and which jobs interested you, in order to improve the matches.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through the browser settings; blocking essential cookies may impair the functioning of the Platform.

Information Retention Period

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, and as long as required for the purposes detailed in this policy or by law. A résumé file you deleted is removed from storage immediately. Upon account deletion, personal information is deleted from our core systems as detailed above. Aggregated data that does not personally identify you may be retained without time limitation.

Marketing Communication

During registration, you will be asked to confirm, by ticking a dedicated checkbox, the receipt of communications from us — including job matches, updates, and marketing content. Your consent is recorded by us (the time of consent and its wording). You can stop receiving communications at any time via the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every message, or by contacting us. Service messages required for operating the account (such as sign-in confirmations) will be sent even after unsubscribing.

Privacy of Minors

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under the age of 18. If you discover that a minor under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information without the consent of a parent or guardian, please contact us and we will act to delete the information.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. A material change will be noted prominently on the Platform, and the date of the last update appears at the bottom of the document.

Contact Regarding Privacy Matters

For any question, comment, or request regarding our Privacy Policy or the way your personal information is handled, please contact us by email: hello@secretjobs.ai

All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Platform and its content belong exclusively to the Platform's administrator.

We do not control or supervise this content. The inclusion of a link or reference to this content does not constitute our approval of its content and does not indicate a recommendation on our part, nor does it guarantee its reliability, currency, legality, or the privacy policy of its owners. You may find that this content does not meet your needs, or that you object to its content, or find it offensive, irritating, inappropriate, or unlawful.

We are not responsible for Third-Party Content or for any consequence arising from using it or relying on it. We will not bear any responsibility in this regard, including for direct or indirect damage that may be caused to users as a result of using or relying on the information and content that appears on linked sites or is published on them.

Without derogating from our right to take legal proceedings, we reserve the right to prevent or block access to the Platform from users who violate the provisions of these Terms, the provisions of any law, or who misuse the Platform, all at our sole discretion.

Without derogating from the terms of use, the user agrees that the limitation period for any claim or demand against the Platform or its administrators will be limited to a period of 6 months, and the parties regard this as an agreement on a limitation period within the meaning of the section in the Limitation Law, 5718-1958.
