Job description
Description Techmer, a subsidiary of MER Group, is seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to join our team. Techmer is a leading defense company specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced communication and security solutions. Position Objective Manage the procurement process end-to-end, including purchase orders, supplier management, material availability, and cost optimization. Responsibilities: Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) Conduct negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms Source and qualify new suppliers Work closely with Production Planning, Warehouse, and Engineering teams Perform cost analysis and identify cost-reduction opportunities Requirements 2–5 years of experience in industrial procurement/purchasing Experience working with ERP systems (Priority ERP – an advantage) High level of English (written and spoken) Strong Excel skills Advantages Experience in global procurement Familiarity with import and shipping processes Technical background, including the ability to read technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) Required Skills Strong negotiation and supplier management skills High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
